Lake O'Hara, British Columbia [ Canada ]
I never knew how many colors and shades of colors lakes could be until I hiked the alpine circuit around Lake O'Hara. Aquamarine, cerulean, jade, and certainly Lake O'Hara was the ultimate rendition of turquoise. I could sit on the shores of this lake for a lifetime, and never bore (I could never dip my feet for that long, though - it's mighty cold). The detail and texture in every mountain, and the colors abound in forests and water, it was all most marvelous and memorable.
